We’ve all hit snooze only to wake up in a panic, but don’t freak out!
Finding the time to figure out how to style your hair like a celeb can be pretty impossible. Between applying your make-up, co-ordinating an outfit and packing your handbag, there are only a limited amount of minutes to work with. But the same old hairstyle does get boring day after day. What time constrained ladies need to know: cute hairstyles don’t have to take a lot of time! Take a look at our favourites 10 minutes max styles.
- Fake A Bob
Take the bottom half of your hair and fold about 5cm sections up to your scalp. Use a pin to secure the ends of your hair tightly to your head.
- Boho Braids
Lea Michele / Pippa Middleton
It may take a little work, but a braided hairstyle is so worth it. Braid a small section of hair on each side of your head, securing at the centre in the back.
- Feminine Meets Edgy
On one side, use product to style the hair flat against the head and pin with a bobby pin. On the other side, curl or wave the hair with a medium barrel curling iron. You can even add a small side braid, like Alicia Keys if you have a few extra minutes.

- Major Bun Alert
A doughnut ring will be your BFF with this huge bun. Gather your hair into a high ponytail. Don’t use a brush, use your fingers instead. Place a hair donut around the base of your ponytail and fan out your hair over the donut. Then twist your hair around and tuck the ends under the donut. This works so well with curly hair, like Rihanna’s.
- Bedhead Bun
For a bedhead messy bun, loosely pull hair into a ponytail and when securing with a hair tie, don’t pull the loop of hair entirely through on the last twist. Then, pull out a few wispy, face-framing pieces at the front.
- Hangin’ Loose
Using texturizing spray or dry shampoo for gritty texture, put hair into a messy, voluminous braid and wrap a strand around the elastic to finish off.
- Bedhead Pony
By far the easiest of these ten hairstyles, pull your hair up into a loose pony, without brushing it and pull out a few face-framing pieces at the front. Easy.
- Twisted Sister
This style looks more complicated than it really is. Simply twist one side of the front section of your hair to the back and secure with a pin. You can either wear the rest of your hair loose (straight or wavy) or pin hair into an updo, like Sharon Leal.
- Low Maintenance
To copy Khloe’s five minute bun put your hair into a low ponytail, then loop hair around the base and tuck ends in with a bobby pin.
- Braid + Bun Combo
A simpler version of Emily Blunt’s upstyle: start a French or normal braid at the front of your hair and braid all the way to the tips. Secure with an elastic and then twist into a bun. Done.
