Wake up looking beautiful!

Juggling life can make us fall behind when it comes to keeping up with beauty. But just because we are busy, doesn’t mean that our looks have to suffer.  We all need our beauty sleep, so get the most out of your bedtime with these helpful hints that work overnight.

  1. Lengthen Your Lashes

A lot of women dream about longer eye lashes. One way to get those Kat Graham length ones is to apply a small amount of Vaseline on your eyelashes.  Make sure to use a clean eyelash wand when doing this.  Leave it on your eyelashes overnight and wash off with warm water in the morning.  Results aren’t instant, but keep it up and you definitely will!

“Put Vaseline on your eyes at night – all over. It helps condition your lashes. My mom taught me that. And my girlfriend told me years ago that if you wake up with puffy eyes, you can put Preparation H underneath them. It’s amazing!” – Jennifer Aniston

  1. Making Waves

This old school trick is easy and efficient: braid damp hair prior to going to sleep and wake up with beautiful waves. You can braid your hair or wrap it around a headband to create waves, or you can simply sleep with it a little damp and let the natural look take its course.  Play around with what works for you and what looks best.

  1. Plumper Skin

If you have dry skin, try using a humidifier in your room while you sleep.  It increases the moisture in the air, thus moisturising your skin.  Be sure to change the water out every day to avoid bacteria growing inside the machine.

  1. Pearly Whites

Whitening your teeth is the perfect thing do to while sleeping. Usually the whitening product has to stay on for a few hours anyway and you have to wait a while before you eat or drink anything so it would be better to do this before bed. There are even some natural remedies that you can use, like baking soda.  Rub a little baking soda onto your teeth and leave it on for five minutes, then rinse thoroughly before climbing in bed.
